An 80-year-old man was injured this afternoon following the crash of a light commercial vehicle in Pica, in the parish of Merufe, in the municipality of Monção.
The alert was given at 2:25 PM. The Monção Volunteer Firefighters, with a total of seven operatives, and the Monção GNR were mobilized to the scene.
The male victim suffered minor injuries and was transported to the Monção Basic Emergency Service.
The circumstances of the crash are being investigated by the authorities.
