The presence of Mário Centeno, who is currently Minister of Finance and President of the Eurogroup, and of Paulo Mota Pinto, who has ties to the PSD, demonstrates the institute's ambition to bring together figures from different political backgrounds under a single progressive platform.
Instituto Progresso thus emerges as a new voice in the Portuguese intellectual landscape, positioning itself as a think tank that aims to foster dialogue between different currents of thought within the progressive spectrum.
