July registers highest number of accidents in Leiria district this year

July registered the maximum number of road accidents in Leiria district this year. The information was reported by the PSP, which revealed data for the first seven months of 2026.

"Summer outbreak" of mpox. DGS warned there was a "growing trend" of cases

Portugal may be experiencing a localized outbreak of mpox during the summer, according to two officials responsible for tracking this infection.
