Sintra applies 167 fines and launches campaign against street dumping of bulky waste

The Sintra City Council launches this Tuesday the "Sintra + Limpa" campaign to raise awareness among residents about the correct disposal of bulky waste, green waste and other materials, warning that these should not be abandoned on public roads without prior collection request. At the same time, the municipality is investing approximately 12 million euros in the acquisition of 39 cleaning vehicles and 1,500 new ecopoints have been installed.
