Etienne Huret, CEO of Natixis in Portugal, will take on the role of "Head of Expertise Platforms" in Portugal and India, now coordinating strategically the institution's hubs in both countries. The appointment, disclosed this Monday, adds to the functions Huret already performs as CEO of Natixis in Portugal and represents a relevant evolution in his professional trajectory, reflecting the confidence of Groupe BPCE in his leadership and in the maturity of the Portuguese operation.
According to Natixis, this decision reinforces the growing role of the operation in Portugal in the French group's international strategy, consolidating the country as an expertise platform within the organization. Within the scope of his new responsibility, Huret's main mission will be to promote greater coordination between teams and "head offices", bringing closer good practices, processes and forms of collaboration between the hubs in Portugal and India, while respecting the cultural, operational and organizational specifics of each market.
Natixis in Portugal is a competence center of Groupe BPCE, with the mission of transforming traditional banking through the development of solutions for the business, operations and work culture of the French group worldwide. The operation is part of BPCE's international division, developing solutions for the Corporate & Investment Banking and Asset & Wealth Management areas.
The company currently employs over 3,000 employees, of 46 nationalities, distributed across information technology teams, banking support activities and compliance.
