The Slow Bakery, located in Jardim Botânico, inaugurated a new neighborhood market concept called Slowzinha – Empório & Café. The space offers a variety of products such as naturally fermented breads, coffee, natural wines, cheeses, artisanal pasta and a special product curation.
Rafa Brito Pereira, baker and founder of Slow, highlights that Slowzinha has a natural community power and has become a neighborhood gathering spot, describing the place as "pure charm nestled in Jardim Botânico".
The menu was expanded and includes options like bread with egg (R$24), made with sourdough miche, Slow butter and free-range eggs; tartines like the tomato and ricotta one (R$48), with organic tomatoes roasted in the oven and artisanal ricotta; small pots like the meatball one (R$38), with Slow tomato sauce and sour cream; and sandwiches like the brisket daughters (R$33), with organic brisket, kimchi mayonnaise and cucumber pickles on Slow ciabatta.
The brisket daughters option is a tribute to the Californian bakery of the baker from Slow's daughters, called The Baker's Daughters.
