A study was conducted to reveal which are the world's richest countries in 2026, including an analysis of Portugal's position in this ranking. The analysis covers a total of 144 countries.
The study excluded 94 economies from the ranking. The reason for these exclusions is related to the lack of available data for the period between 2016 and 2026, or to the fact that these countries have a population below one million inhabitants.
