Marítimo was defeated 3-1 by Moreirense in a sixth round match of the I Liga, held in Moreira de Cónegos.
Moreirense's goals were scored by Manuel Mendonça at 18 minutes, Vonic at 29 and Parsemain at 86. Romain Correia reduced the deficit for Marítimo at 79 minutes, but the goal was not enough to avoid defeat.
With this defeat, Marítimo adds its third consecutive defeat in the Portuguese championship and now occupies tenth position in the standings with seven points.
