University of Évora supported 81 students in situations of economic hardship in the 2025/2026 academic year through a fund that received 177,470 euros from 16 patrons. This financial support was made available to help students facing economic difficulties continue their studies at the Évora academy.
The higher education institution now intends to strengthen the use of scientific and cultural patronage. In this regard, it has already secured an agreement to finance the creation of a laboratory in a two-million euro investment, which represents a significant expansion of the university's fundraising efforts.
This move demonstrates University of Évora's commitment to diversifying its funding sources through partnerships with patrons, both for social support to students and for the development of scientific research infrastructure.
