A traffic accident on the national road EN122, in the municipality of Castro Marim, resulted in two deaths and two injured. The incident involved a collision between two vehicles.
The fatalities are two women, one aged 73 and the other 93 years old. The two injured were assisted at the scene by INEM and later transported to a hospital facility.
Authorities went to the scene of the accident to investigate the circumstances that led to the collision. The road remained closed to traffic during the rescue and road clearing operations.
