The Portuguese Environment Agency (APA) is funding with one million euros a requalification project for the Fervença river in the city of Bragança. The investment aims to significantly improve the water quality of the river, contributing to the environmental recovery of this urban area.
In addition to the requalification of the river itself, the project also includes interventions in the Polis park of Bragança. One of the main works planned is the replacement of the existing walkway in this green area of the city.
This funding is part of a broader strategy to enhance water resources and urban natural spaces in the interior of the country. The requalification should contribute to the landscape and environmental valorization of Bragança, benefiting both residents and visitors to the city.
