Families across the country continue to face difficulties in searching for school places for their children, in a situation that drags on and affects thousands of students.
The National Federation of Teachers (Fenprof) revealed this Monday concerning data about the lack of spaces in schools. In the municipality of Sintra alone, there are 744 students without a place in a school.
In the capital, Lisbon, the situation is no less serious, with 550 children who have yet to secure a school place.
These numbers demonstrate that the problem of the lack of school places persists in various regions of the country, leaving many families in a situation of uncertainty regarding their children's academic future.
