A container from a loaded truck with 15 thousand kilos of cargo overturned on the A4 motorway in Matosinhos. The incident created a dangerous situation, with the container becoming suspended on the safety rails of the lane.
The truck was heading to São João da Madeira when the accident occurred. Authorities were alerted to the incident and deployed resources to the scene.
Due to the overturning, the container became hanging from the motorway's safety rails, which hindered the intervention of emergency services and required traffic restrictions in the area.
