New KAAMinho season brings theater to different generations in Caminha and Vila Praia de Âncora

Krisálida presents a new season of KAAMinho – Krisálida Acolhe no Alto Minho between September 27 and November 29, with four performances in Caminha and Vila Praia de Âncora. The program targets children, families, teenagers, young people and adults, addressing themes such as childhood, environment, war, peace and fear.

The season opens on September 27 at Valadares, Teatro Municipal de Caminha, with "A Cruzada das Crianças" (The Children's Crusade), by the company a bruxa TEATRO, from Évora. Based on a text by Afonso Cruz and directed by Apollo Neiva, the performance is for ages 6 and up and places children at the center of the action to question the world built by adults.

On October 31, at Cineteatro dos Bombeiros Voluntários de Vila Praia de Âncora, "A Teoria da Bolacha" (The Cookie Theory) takes the stage, a co-production by teatromosca and Hipérion Projeto Teatral, aimed especially at teenagers and young people, crossing environmental, social and human issues.

On November 28 and 29, Valadares hosts "A Paz" (Peace), by Leirena Teatro, from Leiria, about the work of Aristophanes for ages 12 and up, and "Buh! A Origem dos Medos" (Buh! The Origin of Fears), by CARB – Cooperativa Artística da Raia Beirã, for family audiences. Tickets are available at the Tourist Offices or at www.krisalida.pt.
