A fire broke out on Sunday night in the parish of Esperança, in the municipality of Póvoa de Lanhoso, in the district of Braga. The flames spread rapidly and, by Monday, had already reached the parish of Guilhofrei, in the neighboring municipality of Vieira do Minho.
