A pastry shop located on Avenida Dr. Leonardo Coimbra, in Margaride, Felgueiras, was robbed in the early hours of this Monday. At least three individuals broke the shop window door to enter the establishment.
The robbers only took the tobacco machine, which contained a week's worth of money. The entrance door was destroyed during the action. The men also tried to take the automatic payment machine, but couldn't remove it because it was armored and bolted to the floor with cement.
The alert was given just before 4:00 AM. Realizing they didn't have time to pull out the payment machine, the robbers fled with the tobacco machine before the GNR arrived.
The owner of the Bliss pastry shop, named Estela, revealed the details of the robbery. The GNR has already been called to the scene and is now investigating the whereabouts of the robbers, who remain on the run.
