Lisbon's technology hub, Lispolis, has opened applications for the 4th edition of Lispolis Ignite, a program that supports startups in validating, structuring, and growing their business models. Targeted at early-stage or growth-phase startups, this edition will once again focus on health as a strategic sector for innovation, with between 10 and 15 projects with health tech solutions being selected.
Between October 14 and 23, participants will have access to six days of training, in both in-person and online formats, with leading specialists. During the program, essential topics for creating and scaling startups will be addressed, and a speed mentoring session, two technical visits to sector entities, and an exclusive session with former participants will take place. The program concludes with a Demo Day, where the projects will be presented to investors, universities, companies, and innovation ecosystem entities.
Two prizes of two thousand euros will be distributed, sponsored by HealthTech Lisboa and CNS – Campus Neurológico, as well as one year of free incubation at Lispolis for the four finalists. Participants will also become part of the Lispolis community, a technology hub with over 35 years of experience.
António Cardoso Pereira, CEO of Lispolis, states that the program was created to shorten the distance between good ideas and companies capable of generating real impact, reinforcing the mission of connecting entrepreneurs with the organizations, investors, and specialists who can accelerate innovation in health. Applications are open until October 2 and can be made through Lispolis's official website.
