Region invests 3.7 million in São Vicente Health Center without PRR support

The Regional Government has proceeded with the rehabilitation of the São Vicente Health Center, in an investment of 3.717 million euros, including VAT, which will be fully covered by the Regional Budget. The work lost the possibility of benefiting from the 85% funding planned under the PRR, forcing the region to assume the total costs.

The contract was awarded to the company RIM – Engineering and Construction and should be completed at the end of Summer 2027. The commitment was announced by the regional secretary for Equipment and Infrastructures, Pedro Rodrigues, during a visit to the site.

Residents of São Vicente benefit from a rehabilitated health center, but without the European funding that would have reduced the cost for regional taxpayers. The fully regional investment may limit funds available for other budgetary priorities.

CVRA accuses the State of failing to control imported wine: "In whose name and why?"
