Rua Eça de Queirós, located in Aveiro, will be closed to traffic between December 16th and 22nd. The closure is part of a test carried out by the Aveiro City Council to evaluate the impact of eliminating car traffic on this city artery.
The objective of this experience is to understand how the pedestrianization of the street can contribute to improving mobility and safety conditions in the area. During the test period, citizens will be able to walk and cycle along the street, which is normally a very busy passing route.
