Amálgama Fair returns to Serra das Minas to celebrate emerging art

Sintra Notícias14 September 2026 at 15:58

The Amálgama Fair is back in Sintra for its 4th edition, which takes place on September 26th, between 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM, at the Serra das Minas Market, in the Parish of Rio de Mouro. This initiative aims to promote and give visibility to emerging culture and art on the Sintra Line, bringing together more than 20 artists from within and outside the municipality. The program includes diverse artistic areas, music and workshops, providing a space for meeting and promoting new projects and creators.

Music will have a special highlight between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with an Open Mic led by Duda Lee Davis, beatmaker and DJ linked to the urban culture of the suburbs and the 90s generation. His musical selection crosses Rap and Hip Hop, Jazz, Soul and R&B, while also featuring classics of African music and electronic music proposals, in an approach that combines references from the old school and the new school.

Why this matters

Residents of Sintra, especially in the Rio de Mouro area, have access to a free cultural event that brings together emerging art, live music and workshops in a single space. The event also offers local and regional artists a platform for promotion and networking, helping to boost the cultural scene on the Sintra Line.
