The PL candidate for President of the Republic, Flavinho Bolsonaro, is ahead of the president and candidate for re-election, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), in a potential runoff. According to the new Quaest presidential poll released on Monday (14), Flavinho has 42% of voting intentions, while Lula appears with 40%. This is the first survey conducted since the Supreme Federal Court lifted the secrecy of the Master case, and the interviews were conducted between Friday and Sunday.
The survey shows that Lula is losing low-income votes, while Bolsonaro is growing among women, Catholics, and other groups. The distance between the two candidates has decreased compared to previous polls.
The journalist and CBN commentator, Pedro Doria, evaluates that voting for Bolsonaro is more anti-Lula than pro-Bolsonaro. He highlights that, from January onwards, Lula remains in the same place in terms of voting intention, while Bolsonaro has fluctuated more in the polls.
