At the beginning of this school year, the Municipal Council of Portalegre delivered exercise books and activity notebooks to approximately 900 students in Basic Education in the municipality. This distribution covered all students at this education level in the municipality.

Additionally, school kits with various materials are being distributed, free of charge, to the two hundred students in the 1st cycle who receive school social support. This measure aims to support families in situations of greater economic vulnerability.
