Social Security revealed the payment calendar for October 2026, with different dates depending on the type of benefit. Pension payments are scheduled for October 8th, the same date when the Solidarity Supplement for the Elderly, the Social Disability Benefit, and funeral expense reimbursements will also be processed. Pensions and allowances related to occupational illness will be paid earlier, on October 2nd, while rents are scheduled for the 7th.
Family benefits and the first monthly payments for unemployment, sick leave, parental leave, and social action are scheduled for October 16th. The Child Support Guarantee Fund appears on the calendar on October 21st, followed two days later by the Wage Guarantee Fund, the subsidy for suspension of cultural activity, and the Social Insertion Income.
On October 28th, the second monthly payment for unemployment, sick leave, parental leave, and social action is scheduled, the same date when the Informal Caregiver Support Allowance will also be processed. Payments can be made via bank transfer or postal voucher, depending on the benefit and the modality associated with the beneficiary.
The calendar allows beneficiaries who depend on these subsidies to manage fixed expenses such as rent, food, medication, or household bills. Social Security regularly publishes the payment calendar for the different benefits on its official website.
