Coimbra City Council today signed a collaboration protocol with various institutions to prepare, hold and monitor a Citizens' Assembly dedicated to the retention of young people in the municipality. The protocol was signed between the municipality and partner institutions to structure this participatory process.
The Citizens' Assembly aims to give voice to the population on the theme of retaining young people in Coimbra. The goal is to collect contributions from citizens to identify the main challenges and possible solutions to keep young people in the city.
The protocol establishes the framework for cooperation between the entities involved to ensure the monitoring of the Citizens' Assembly's work. It is the responsibility of the signing institutions to ensure the necessary conditions for holding the sessions and processing the recommendations that emerge from the process.
