The Ministry of Education is identifying available vacancies to accommodate students who currently do not have a place in schools. The process is underway and aims to find solutions to this situation that affects thousands of students.
Among the measures under consideration are opening new classes or increasing the number of students per classroom. These are described by the Ministry as "the usual administrative solutions" to deal with the lack of places.
The ministry did not specify how many students are currently without a school, nor in which regions of the country the situation is most serious. No deadlines were also given for the completion of the vacancy identification process.
