The actress Hayden Panettiere, 36, died after ingesting an oxycodone pill mixed with fentanyl. The information was released by the tabloid TMZ following an American police investigation. The suspicion is that the pill was adulterated with fentanyl, an extremely potent and lethal synthetic substance.
The day before her death, Hayden consumed various drugs during a flight from Los Angeles to South Carolina, where she was found unconscious. She allegedly obtained the drugs from a dealer in Los Angeles who supplied her with black market products. The pill was taken in the morning.
Her boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, administered overdose medication after finding her unconscious. According to his brother, Zach Hickerson, Brian gave Hayden Narcan and both performed CPR together while emergency was on speakerphone, until firefighters and medical services arrived.
