Russia claims to have intercepted 399 Ukrainian drones overnight, in one of the largest waves of aerial attacks recorded recently on Russian territory. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the drones were detected and destroyed during air defense operations carried out during the nighttime period.
The attack represents one of the largest episodes of Ukrainian aerial attacks against Russian territory since the beginning of the conflict. The scale of the attack demonstrates Ukraine's continued capacity to carry out large-scale aerial operations against targets inside Russia.
Russian authorities reported no casualties or significant material damage resulting from the attack. The Russian Defense Ministry indicated that the air defense systems managed to neutralize all the drones before they reached their targets.
