UNIPVC welcomed this morning the first students of the Physiotherapy course, in a historic moment for the institution. The reception took place simultaneously at the three higher education institutions that deliver the course in association.
The president of the Order of Physiotherapists, António Lopes, attended the ceremony and made clear the significance of this moment for the new students. Lopes highlighted that the students will be marked in the institution's history.
António Lopes also emphasized that Physiotherapy is currently a core profession in primary healthcare, integrated into public health policies. This statement reinforces the growing importance of the field in the Portuguese health system.
