Indonesian authorities located the ferry that sank, leaving six dead. The vessel was found approximately 80 nautical miles southwest of the city of Banjarmasin, in the south of Borneo island.
The wreckage of the vessel was still floating on the surface of the water at the time of location. The sinking resulted in a total of 108 people rescued alive.
So far, no information has been released about the cause of the sinking or the identity of the fatal victims.
