The Dionys project, developed by students of the Higher Professional Technical Course in Sales and Marketing Management at the Institute of Accounting and Administration of the University of Aveiro, won the regional phase of the competition. The project consists of an intelligent wine climate control system, created as part of the course's teaching activities.
The Dionys team was driven by the course's curricular dynamics, integrating the project as part of their academic training. This type of initiative allows students to apply the knowledge acquired in a real product development context.
After the victory in the regional phase, the project represented the University of Aveiro at the National Week of Poliempreende 2026. The event took place at the University of Algarve, between August 31 and September 4, 2026.
Poliempreende is a competition that aims to promote entrepreneurship among higher education students, encouraging the creation of innovative projects and their presentation before a specialized jury.
