Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was returning on Sunday from a conference in Kiev when a Russian drone struck a convoy traveling near the one he was in. The attack occurred at a railway station in Ukraine, near the border with Poland.
The former CIA director was also traveling in the same convoy as Johnson on this trip. The attack killed at least six people and injured around 40, according to Ukrainian authorities.
The Russian offensive against Ukraine that night involved more than 320 drones, according to information reported in the article. Ukrainian authorities say 310 of those devices were shot down by air defense systems.
