JSD Guimarães is organizing a Solidarity Volleyball Tournament, which will take place on September 19th, starting at 09:00, at EB 2,3 in Abação. The event will run throughout the day, providing a moment of socializing and competition among participants.
All proceeds raised during the tournament will go entirely to a social solidarity institution in Guimarães. According to Júnio Castro, president of JSD Guimarães, the initiative aims to be a moment of demonstration of the solidarity of young people from Guimarães, bringing participants together around a common cause and contributing to support those most in need.
The youth political structure intends, through this initiative, to encourage young people's participation in the community and promote a link between sport, social responsibility and solidarity. Registrations are made online, through a form made available on JSD Guimarães' social media.
