Two men, aged 19 and 21, were constituted as defendants by the GNR for suspected theft inside a residence and improper use of bank cards, in the municipality of Ponte de Lima.
The investigation was conducted by the Criminal Investigation Unit of Arcos de Valdevez and originated from a complaint filed after the theft occurred.
The military authorities identified the two suspects and proceeded with the formal constitution as defendants within the criminal proceedings.
The case allegedly involves crimes of residential burglary and improper use of bank cards, committed against the victim who filed the complaint.
