Ukraine reported that a Russian drone struck a fuel station near the Yahodyn-Dorohusk border crossing linking Ukraine and Poland during the early hours of Sunday, September 13. The attack caused fires in the border area.
The fuel station is located next to this border crossing, which is considered a key route for traffic between the two countries. The incident occurred in the early morning, when the drone attack set the facilities ablaze.
A video recorded at the scene shows flames and thick smoke rising from the fuel station. Firefighters were called to the scene to extinguish the fire and contain the flames.
The attack occurs in the context of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, with Russia frequently using drones to strike targets in Ukrainian territory. This border crossing with Poland is one of the main routes linking Ukraine to the European Union.
