Davi Malizia, known for playing Samir in "Êta mundo melhor!", was confirmed in the cast of "Mãe imperfeita," a new drama series on Netflix. The actor will appear alongside Manu Bistene in the project starring Paolla Oliveira and Fabiula Nascimento as protagonists.
Filming of the series is taking place in Rio de Janeiro, under the direction of Rogério Gomes, known as Papinha. The production is by A Fábrica and the original concept is by Eduardo Vaisman and Alice Gomes, who also co-created it alongside Felipe Sant'Angelo, Leonardo Moreira, and Marian.
The rest of the cast includes Ailton Graça as the director of a school where the children in the story study, Mariana Molina as a wealthy woman with a strong personality, as well as Aline Borges, Denise Weinberg, David Junior, Emílio de Mello, Felipe Abib, Juliane Araújo, Renato Livera, and Totia Meireles.
Netflix also plans to adapt a Christian special into a series, featuring Felipe Simas and Marco Luque in the cast. Another project is a Christian romance where Maurício Destri and Isabelle Drummond will play a couple.
