Casa da Esquina hosted an interactive event dedicated to combating prejudices about autism spectrum disorder. The main objective of the activity was to allow participants to better understand the sensitivities of those living with this disorder.
The experience consisted of placing participants "in the skin of an autistic person," allowing them to experience, albeit in a simulated way, some of the difficulties and sensations faced daily by people on the autism spectrum.
The initiative arises in the context of an ongoing effort to raise awareness and educate society about autism, seeking to break down barriers of understanding and promote greater inclusion of people with this disorder.
