FC Arouca lost at home to Santa Clara 1-2 this Sunday, in a match counting for the sixth round of the Portuguese football League. At half-time, the Santa Clara players, from the Azores, were already leading 0-2.
Arouca's Lobos, who came from a draw in Estoril, suffered their second defeat in the competition. With this result, the Arouca team remains in fifth place in the standings with 10 points.
Santa Clara, on the other hand, added their second consecutive victory and continues unbeaten in this edition of the League. The Azorean side occupies third place in the table with 14 points.
