The Brazilian cosmetics brand O Boticário celebrates 40 years of presence in Portugal, having arrived in the country four decades ago. Portugal continues to be the brand's largest international market outside Brazil.
The debut in Portuguese territory took place at the Amoreiras Shopping Center, in Lisbon, where the brand opened its first store. Since then, O Boticário has expanded significantly, currently having over 60 stores spread across the country.
The brand's Portuguese operation currently employs 510 workers, who work in the stores and in the company's structure in the country.
In addition to physical stores, the brand has a vast network of 38,000 resellers who distribute the fragrances from north to south of Portugal, representing one of the most relevant sources of revenue for the brand in the country.
