The parliamentary leader of PS, Eurico Brilhante Dias, today pointed to the Education minister, Fernando Alexandre, as a candidate for worst Education minister since April 25th. The criticism was made at a press conference held at the party headquarters.
Eurico Brilhante Dias considered it "scandalous" that public education leaves hundreds of students without access to public education, which is compulsory. The parliamentary leader of PS emphasized that this situation occurs in the 21st century, in 2026.
The statement comes at a time when hundreds of students remain without placement in the public education system, prompting strong criticism from the opposition Socialist Party regarding the current government's education policies.
