The parliamentary leader of the Socialist Party considered Fernando Alexandre candidate for worst Education minister since the April 25th, in a direct criticism of the government official.
The accusation was made today and comes in the context of a crisis in the Portuguese educational system, with hundreds of students left without placement in public education.
The PS considers this situation scandalous and uses it as an argument to attack the Education minister's actions. Fernando Alexandre is thus called into question by the main opposition party, which compares him unfavorably with all his predecessors since the 1974 Revolution.
