The Supreme Federal Court scheduled an extraordinary session for next Tuesday at 10am to analyze the case involving messages exchanged between businessman Daniel Vorcaro, owner of Banco Master, and Justice Minister Alexandre de Moraes. The messages indicate that the businessman received guidance from the magistrate on the eve of his arrest.
The plenary session will be broadcast live by Rádio e TV Justiça and the official STF channel on YouTube. This is an unprecedented case in the court's history, which had never before analyzed a similar situation.
The confirmation of the session was made through a publication on the institution's website this Saturday. The president of the STF, Justice Edson Fachin, convened the plenary to review Petition 16.662, reported by Justice André Mendonça.
The process includes the report produced by the Federal Police from a request by Mendonça regarding an alleged network of influencers. The trial represents an important moment for the court, which seeks to recover its institutional image after repeated criticism of its practices.
