The State Prison Police Secretariat (Seppen) arrested on Friday (11) a man identified as responsible for drug trafficking in Candelária, in Volta Redonda, in the South Fluminense region. Maicon Roberto Araújo Teixeira, known as "MK", 26 years old, is a member of the criminal organization Terceiro Comando Puro (TCP), according to the department.
The arrest took place in a housing complex of the Minha Casa Minha Vida program, on Rua Sebastião Souza, in the city. The operation was carried out by prison police from the Search and Recapture Division (Recap), who, upon approaching the address, noticed suspicious movement and managed to access the indicated area.
During the perimeter operation, four men were found with narcotics. In addition to Maicon, João Vitor de Oliveira, Wendel Martins Rosa, and Juliano Rodrigues de Assis were also arrested. All were taken to the police station, where they remain at the disposal of the Justice system.
