Seixal will celebrate European Heritage Days 2026 with five free initiatives, scheduled to take place between September 18 and 27. The information was released by the Seixal City Council.
The program includes an exhibition, visits and guided walks through various locations in the Seixal municipality. All activities are free entry and are intended for the general public.
European Heritage Days is a European-wide event that promotes access to and appreciation of the cultural and historical heritage of participating countries. Seixal has participated in this initiative for several years, seeking to promote its local heritage.
With these five initiatives, the municipality aims to engage the local population in the discovery and appreciation of the heritage spaces and assets existing in the Seixal territory, contributing to the preservation of the region's collective memory.
