The fourth edition of the Bairrada Eco Challenge took place on Saturday, September 12, between the municipalities of Águeda and Oliveira do Bairro, establishing itself as one of the largest sporting events in the region. This edition reached record numbers, with around 2,500 participants distributed across 235 teams.
Participants faced a course of approximately 13 kilometres, which included a diversity of obstacles, water crossings, mud and various physical challenges along the route.
The event continues to grow in size and popularity, already exceeding the borders of the Bairrada region and attracting competitors from various parts of the country.
With this fourth edition, the Bairrada Eco Challenge confirms its position as a reference in the regional sporting calendar, maintaining the growth trend seen in previous editions.
