The leaders of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland will meet on Monday in Cardiff to sign a memorandum of understanding aimed at the independence of these British regions. The meeting will bring together the Welsh First Minister, Rhun ap Iorwerth, and his counterparts from Scotland, John Swinney, and Northern Ireland, Michelle O'Neill.
The joint declaration aims to demand from the London government the right to hold referendums on the independence of these regions, as well as the recovery of powers that are currently centralized in the United Kingdom.
This movement represents a coordinated position between the three British regional governments to pressure the central executive to return competencies and allow the populations to decide their future through referendums.
