Minister Flávio Dino, from the Supreme Federal Court (STF), lifted on this Sunday the secrecy of all the investigation material from the São Paulo Civil Police incorporated into the Dark Horse case. The investigation examines suspicions of diversion of public funds from parliamentary amendments and the alleged participation of federal deputy Mário Frias (PL-SP) in the scheme. Dino also determined the transfer of cell phones, computers, documents and data extracted from the devices seized by the São Paulo police to the custody of the Federal Police.
When analyzing the material sent by the São Paulo court, Dino stated that the hypothesis of a sophisticated scheme for allocation and diversion of public funds has been strengthened, also involving funds from the São Paulo City Hall. According to the minister, the organization under investigation would have possible ties to the PCC. Mário Frias, in the hypothetical terrain of the investigation, would occupy a leadership role in the alleged criminal structure.
