The Public Security Police (PSP) expects to have in 2027 greater capacity to accommodate immigrants in the expulsion process. This expectation arises within the scope of the new immigration law that is being implemented.
The PSP also has, in the context of this new legislation, the ambition of creating a national triage center for illegal immigrants. This center would allow better organization and management of identification and referral processes.
The authorities thus intend to improve procedures related to illegal immigration, ensuring a more efficient and structured response to deal with these cases in the national territory.
