Chinese President Xi Jinping pledged China's support to accelerate the development of artificial intelligence and other technologies among BRICS member countries. The pledge was made during Xi's intervention in the second and final session of the Global South leaders' summit.
The summit took place this weekend in New Delhi and brought together leaders from developing countries. During the session, Xi highlighted the importance of technological cooperation among the bloc's nations.
BRICS is composed of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, representing emerging economies from different continents. Xi's pledge falls within the context of efforts to strengthen collaboration among these countries in strategic areas.
