Kenyan athletes completely dominated the Porto Half Marathon, occupying all places on the men's podium. Owen Korir Kapkama won the race with a time of 1:01:58, securing first place. His compatriots completed the remaining podium positions.
In the women's competition, the victory went to Naomi Chepngeno, who also represented Kenya. The athlete demonstrated her country's hegemony in the race, an event that featured a strong presence of Kenyan runners.
Regarding Portuguese athletes, André Pereira was the best national representative finishing in sixth place. The Portuguese runner thus achieved a commendable result, although he missed the podium entirely occupied by Kenyan athletes.
