A first alert dispatch was issued for the São Romão area, in the municipalities of Guarda and Seia. The alert concerns a wildfire, meaning an occurrence involving vegetation.
Authorities have mobilized a total of 42 personnel to combat the fire. Eight ground units have also been deployed for firefighting operations in the field.
Additionally, an aerial unit has been requested to support the firefighting efforts. The coordination between ground and aerial units aims to more effectively combat the spread of flames in the brushland area.
